Misty Armantis

I learned a technique in charcoal known as Cherisquero. It is a charcoal technique where you start with a dark background layer laid over a lighter one. To draw, you erase the darker surface to reveal the lighter one underneath. It is a wonderful technique for capturing lighting and creating depth.

Ultimately I decided to try this out with digital media. This one here was my only successful attempt.
